Description
If its variety of species you are after in secluded surroundings then the eight pools and recently 2 newly dug out pools provide some diverse yet quality fishing. Each pool is situated on the vast farm estate and are formed from old clay pits which having matured now provide a stable aquatic environment
Species
Except for some Carp into double figures the Ellenhall Pools predominately support fish on the young side with average sized Bream, Tench and Roach. The pools therefore support many "bread and butter" fish and have provided the ideal setting for club competitions.
Location
Take the A519 south from Eccleshall, after passing the village of Wooton, Turn left for the village of Ellenhall, after approx 500m, Ellenhall park farm will be facing you, depending on choice of pond, there are three car parks-see map.
